The 77mm Graduated Neutral Density 0.6 Filter from Heliopan helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest on one half and clear on the other to permit aligning the horizon in the center of the frame in order to achieve a balanced, even overall exposure. This 0.6 density graduated ND filter provides a 2 stop reduction in light across half the frame, and neutral density filters do not affect the overall coloration of the image for greater consistency.

This filter is constructed from Schott glass for optical clarity, and the glass is mounted within a brass filter ring for added durability as well as resistance to jamming while mounting.

Graduated neutral density 0.6 filter is used to selectively darken portions of an image, such as a bright sky, while still retaining detail in the darker foreground or other shadowed areas.
Provides a 2 stop reduction of light in half the frame.
Neutral density filters do not affect the overall coloration of the image.
Constructed from Schott glass to maintain optical clarity and set within a brass filter ring for durability and resistance from jamming or binding.

77mm Graduated Neutral Density 0.6 Filter is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great. It did everything I needed it to when I photographed Lake Superior on vacation. It helped me to balance bright water or bright skies. Heliopan is a brand I trust.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Vignetting and blue cast This is definitely the right density (0.6) to render a naturally defined sky. However, this filter adds a blue cast also over the clear bottom half of the filter. On my 24mm lens, there was significant vignetting. The filter ring needs to be marked to positively identify the position, but that can be added by the owner. The filer arrived soiled by foam rubber particles from the packaging. Do not wipe that off, it is hard to clean. Use a blower instead!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GRADUATED TO GRADUATED I have never found a need to use a graduated filter until I purchased my 77mm ND 0.6. Now I feel like I must use it no matter what. A fantastic filter to use, Easy screw on and to adjust. Granted you must line up with the horizon to receive the best shot possible, or locate your area to split if no true horizon is visible. With practice , the 0.6 is fun to say the least. It darkens the sky and lightens the foreground. There are so many applications to use this filter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gear addition! This filter is just what was missing, from my gear! It performs beautifully! Living in the Pacific Northwest, and having access to so much water (waterfalls, rivers, lakes, etc.) it goes everywhere my camera goes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very graduated This filter seems well-built, but the graduation takes place in a very short distance, so it will work only with very flat horizons. I would have returned it, but I did not get to test it for several months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing This filter is graduated very tightly; the change is too abrupt to be useful. I would return it if it were not too late. Well-built but poorly described.
