The Cavision Next-Gen 11x Micro Director's Viewfinder provides a portable means of conceptualizing and framing your shots prior to setting up your camera. The frame can be composed using a variety of formats including full-frame DSLR, APS-C, and digital S35. It also includes standard film formats including anamorphic, 35mm, and Super 16. The VFTW-11X features an 11x zoom range for a wide range of focal lengths, click stops on the aspect ratio ring, and a 37mm filter thread for fitting filters or a wide angle converters. A 36" neck strap, snap-on lens cap, and a soft vinyl carrying pouch come included.

I used to own the bigger one, but it was a bit heavy to be carrying it around. This one, on the other hand, works great and can fit into shirt pockets or just keep in a pouch attached to your belt. you won't feel it and it will always come handy.

Do you get the aspect ration of a 35mm camera? if ...

Do you get the aspect ration of a 35mm camera? if yes, what focal lengh does it cover?

Further to a previous question mentioning: "35mm Camera" and "Aspect Ration" and please correct me if I'm mistaken guys, but I was looking at buying a Director's Viewfinder for use in support of a full-frame DSLR and while this and many of the other affordable 11x zoom DVs seem to have the required Focal Length multiplier to allow them to simulate the field of view of FLs from 18-200mm, none of them seem to have the required 3:2 (1.5) Aspect Ratio (mask) to correctly simulate the framing. Even Cavision VFRW-11X seems to be missing the 3:2 AR. If you guys know of an affordable (35mm FF equivalent) 11x zoom DV that has a 3:2 (1.5) AR setting, please enlighten me ;)

What is the widest and longest focal length?

For 35mm Film it is listed as between 18 to 200mm. If you are shooting Anamorphic is it listed as 35-400.

Is it compatible with medium format phaseone full frame cameras like iq4 150

Unfortunately this viewfinder does not have a setting for Medium Format. However, by multiplying the focal length reading on the viewfinder by 2.5x, while on the W36 (35mm photo full frame) setting, Medium Format can be approximated.
