If you are looking for a round image surrounded by a black rectangle, you need a full frame camera. There are no known lenses that can do that with an APS-C camera.

Will this fit the Sony VG30h without any adapters? Is it virtually the same as the Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 E Mount fisheye that has the unremovable lens hood? That's what I'm looking for...
The Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 UMC Fish-Eye CS II Lens for Sony E Mount is compatible with the Sony VG30 without the need of an adapter. It would be pretty much the same as the version with the built-in lens hood.

Rokinon states the dimensions of the Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 UMC Fisheye CS II Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount are 75mm (2.95 inches) in diameter and 102.1mm (4.02 inches) in length.

On a Sony A7iii will this produce a circular image with black borders?
It will because this is a crop-sensor fisheye as opposed to full-frame like the A7 series is. I use it on my A7RII and I just use it on video mode and zoom in past the vignetting, but I also take photos with it that have the vignetting and just crop it out in post. You can get a full-frame version of this lens from Rokinon, it's just a bit more expensive.

The lens comes with a small hood and a cover, as it is so wide the hood is minimal
