Profoto is Quality and worth the extra $$. This modifier is essential. I use it with the diffuser and buddy it up with my XL to get extremely soft light.

Well made and works well with B 10 Plus. A little top heavy, though.

There's something extra special about this umbrella. Yes, it costs a little more but the results ooze great quality of light. The build quality is professional grade unlike another umbrella maker that rhymes with Photo-Regret. This umbrella is made to last.

Ok - so, I won't lie. I was totally skeptical that this product was worth the price before purchasing. I have other 51 umbrellas that don't cost nearly as much, and was wondering what made this umbrella so much more expensive. Before I even took it out of its case, I could tell there was a huge difference in build quality. The build quality on this thing is superb!! It blew any doubts out of my mind instantly. The light is simply gorgeous and having the ability to pair it with a diffuser make this modifier even more versatile. Honestly, it's worth every penny.

I know Profoto = pricey but one has to ask themself if it's better to save a bit of money now, always wishing they had what they really want, only to finally break down and buy it, after being less-than-satisfied with the cheaper alternative - OR - do you just go ahead and buy the best now, knowing you'll soon forget that you spent more $$ upfront but also knowing that you now own something premium? I usually go for the latter option, especially when it comes to the tools I use to make a living. In this case, I am more than happy that I did! Sure, it's just an umbrella but I couldn't be more pleased with the build quality the way it performs. I am very happy with my purchase!

How long is the umbrella when it is closed? Curious if I would be able to travel with it on a plane or put in my luggage?
Asked by: inda
Hello. The length of the large deep white umbrella is 34 inches long. It won't fit in a standard travel suitcase but will tuck away nicely in a luggage bin in a plane. I also have the medium deep umbrella and it does fit in a standard suitcase.

question

Why is the optional diffuser not listed in the accessories?
Asked by: Anonymous
The optional diffuser is discussed within Profoto's description of the umbrella itself. It creates a softer wraparound light but loses a stop or more of light. A good investment. Profoto's gear is superb in quality, construction and performance!
