The Reloop Keyfadr Ableton Performance USB Powered MIDI Keyboard is designed for live performance and music production with Ableton Live 9. The 25-key velocity sensitive controller makes nine octaves playable and uses a single USB cable for 5 VDC powering and transmitting MIDI data. It features eight faders with endless rotary encoders for panning, two control knobs for send/return, and three backlit buttons for mute, solo, and rec. The controller also features full DAW transport controls such as play, stop, rec, scene, up/down, play/stop clips, overdub, set marker, marker left/right, cycle, tap, and metronome.
The unit is fully integrated with Ableton Live 9 and includes an on-board arpeggiator with multiple play modes as well as an internal/external MIDI clock. A shift button enables a second layer of user-defined MIDI mapping and switching between two performance scenes. The controller includes a chord feature for playing some of the most common musical chords and a scale mode for selecting from four available musical scales. It comes with a copy of Ableton Live 9 Lite.
