CF-VEB531U Port Replicator for CF-53 MKI/MKII Toughbook is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good docking station It does what it is supposed to do, making it easy to dock a CF-53 Toughbook so that a large monitor and better keyboard/mouse are available. Two things lower the rating to 4 stars. 1.) Panasonic recommends that you turn your computer off before docking or undocking it. Most competing brands have no problem with hot-docking, and at worst ask that the computer be put to sleep prior to the docking operations. 2.) The high definition output on this dock is HDMI. This is probably because that is what is provided by the laptop, but the DisplayPort connection is more common in the monitors that I usually buy (high end business monitors). I had to purchase different models to have them mate well with these docks.
