The RU-2 Relay Unit from Digital Arts connects the TLC-8 Tally Controller to CCUs (Camera Control Units) that require a contact closure input for tally. It connects these units like a tally light, but has 2 contact closure outputs (on a 3.5mm jack) rather than LEDs.
The RU-2 Relay Unit includes a 12” RJ-45 cable to connect to the controller, and a 2.5’ pigtail cable with a right angle 3.5mm connector at one end and bare tinned leads at the other. You can simply add a connector that matches your CCU’s tally port.
