This Flex Arm to GoPro Top-Mount Kit from Ikelite bundles the GoPro tripod mount, a 4-bead/joint flex arm extension with a 1/2" diameter, a flex mount, and a spare package of silicone lubricant to keep O-rings from drying out. The kit enables you to capture photos with your DSLR camera in its waterproof housing while simultaneously recording video with your top-mounted GoPro action camera. Attach the GoPro in its waterproof housing to the included GoPro tripod mount. Then, connect the tripod mount directly to the supplied flex mount, which attaches to an Ikelite DSLR housing's top mount, or insert the included flex arm extension between the tripod mount and flex mounts--creating a full-length arm that expands the number of possible angles and positions for GoPro video capture.

Returned it
I should have heeded the advise of the other reviewer because I had to put my entire body weight and 30 mins of my time into getting one piece to snap together, then there were several more that I gave up on trying to get them snapped together after how much force and effort was required to get the first one. Also, you have to put the first piece of the mount directly on the ikelite housing first, then snap on the subsequent mount pieces and I can imagine it isn't good for the wear and tear of the ikelite housing to put that much force on a single extremity that is attached. Additionally, you have to break apart the pieces while it is attached to the housing in order to remove the mount from the housing. I thought getting them snapped together was tough - but breaking them apart is just as hard. In the end- I returned it.
Can't snap them together! Totally Useles
I'm not a 90 lb weakling, but there is no way I can get these components to snap together!!! I generally love Ikelite products, but this one is a big loser! Total waste of my money. I'm still struggling to find a way to attach a GoPro to my Ikelite housing. NOTE: Tried sticking a mount on top, but salt water broke the bond after a few days and I almost lost my GoPro. I'd love feedback from someone who has successfully attached a GoPro to an Ikelite housing.
