This version of the AMD FirePro 2270 Graphics Card features 512MB of DDR3 RAM as well as the x1 option which allows two cards to be combined to drive up to four displays. The card is suitable for a variety of applications that require or benefit from having a dedicated GPU. It features a PCI Express 2.1 interface that is compatible with computers that have x1 through x16 PCI Express expansion slots. A low profile, half length form factor means it can even be installed in computers with limited internal space.
The FirePro 2270 can be connected to a variety of displays, including computer monitors, HDTVs, and projectors. It features a DMS-59 output connector that can support up to two displays. A DMS-59 to dual DVI-I adapter is included and well as two DVI to VGA adapters. In addition, DisplayPort displays can be connected using a DMS-59 to DisplayPort adapter, sold separately.
