Can I connect an amp for full range speakers to ...
Can I connect an amp for full range speakers to high and another amp to low for a sub, then set it to cross over appropriately?
Yes, it has several ways a 3-way crossover can be done.
There's an 8 band parametric EQ per stereo output (for the stereo low output, med or high range).
Within that section each of 8 frequency bands has infinitely variable frequency, gain and Q factor per band with full graphical view of each band and the settings for each. That can function like a crossover if you set it appropriately. But probably best to just use the dedicated crossover page.
There is a page for setting 3 stereo crossover points with a wide range of settings (slope, Hz, etc) that is quite full featured.
Any of these can be configured via the front panel LCD but it's much easier to see and setup by connecting the Ethernet port to a WIFI router and configure it on your computer using a web browser pointed at it's IP address.
Set it to a fixed IP so it's easy to find, no network search tool needed.
You can also configure it using the DBX app on a cell phone when it's connected to a WIFI router. WIFI. not bluetooth. If your cell phone is on the same WIFI network as the PA2 it connects fast and works fine.
I use the the Android cell app for live gigs if needed by bringing along a small router and connect that on the Ethernet port. Then I can walk out front and adjust channel gains, EQ, crossover, or fix any big room peaks in real time on my cell phone at the venue. or even run an auto tune and it will notch certain notes as needed.
Rather than subject people to high pitched auto feedback test noise during feedback tests, I bring up the gain to just barely ringing (actual feedback) and measure the note a few feet from the speaker using a phone app. 2.7Khz and 4.1Khz or whatever.
Add a narrow 32 or 48dB/octave filter or two manually on the DBX to drop just that 1 bad note by 6-12dB which removes the feedback.
It takes 5 minutes to do and is nearly silent to setup using that method. After filtering out a peaky note you can bring the gain up further and see if there's a 2nd note that needs masking or not. Or adjust mic positions as needed. In a noisy venue that's harder to do.
You could adjust for room conditions on-site and save the config for later use in the same venue at a later date.
Note that if you LOAD a saved config it WILL mute all outputs as shown on the front panel. NO signal gets through until you un-mute each section using the 3 front panel mute buttons.
We had some folks disconnect the whole unit and rewire at a gig because they couldn't get any signal through. Whups.
Normally it boots up in 5 -10 seconds and goes live using the last preset. But not if you load a preset. You have to unmute. It's a safety feature.
For the sub output I use the crossover and the EQ. I set the sub to not bother with notes above 80Hz in our case or below 25Hz (since this custom sub will do 18Hz). Dropping the subsonics increases the headroom, clarity and power handling and there's very little musical content that low anyway.
Commercial 15 - 18" subs barely function below 40Hz depending on which one. They're designed for a ton of output instead of accuracy or going low. Some people need 116dB at 90Hz but we don't.
Most big subs are down -6 to 15dB at 35 to 40Hz and do almost no 30Hz even if they are rated for it - they lied. big JBL subs, Yamaha, etc). They miss the last entire octave coming off a decent synth or 5 string bass such as a low B0 at 31Hz or A0 at 27.5Hz on the synth.
In small venues for the original music we do, having a powerful, smooth low end flat to 27Hz that hits a low A0 with full impact (+-1dB from 25 - 70Hz) is more useful than lots of volume. Hope that helps.

question

Thank you for your question. If you use the high output enable in a full range application you are by passing any crossover settings and it would basically be a line output
