StarTech SV565UTPUSA Overview

The black USB VGA KVM Console Extender Kit from StarTech includes a local receiver and a remote transmitter. This system is used to control a server, computer, or multiple computers (connected through a KVM switch) over a standard CAT5/6 UTP network cable at a distance of up to 1,000’ over a secure remote connection to a locked (secure) server. This extender supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080.

The mounting bracket attached on the remote unit allows it to be mounted in a convenient location. This extender performs automatic image calibrations for high-level performance and manual controls are accessible via the serial interface. For added convenience, the Console / KVM extender supports USB computer connections and is compatible with any brand of USB KVM switch.
