question

Currently, are you selling the version pictured with the floppy drive power connector and LSI chipset? Or are you selling the newer version with molex connector and TI chipset? They both have the same model number.
Asked by: Jesse S.
The version of the board that I received from B&H in June of 2018 had the floppy drive power connector and the LSI chipset.

question

Will this work in an Aspire TC-120 PC?
Asked by: Anonymous
I have an ASUS running Windows 8.1. I needed a card for a Sony TRV33 camcorder to use with Adobe Premiere. I had an open PCIe slot available and it installed flawlessly in a matter of minutes. Windows found the card and when I opened Adobe Premiere and turned the camcorder on it was there. You should check to see if there is an open PCI Express slot available with back slot open and/or available. The cable that came with it did not fit my camcorder but I did have one that came with it so that was no problem. The issue was that it had a, what I call, small housing around the connector and because of that it would not go into the camcorder, I tried to find slot availability for your PC but could not find internal specs to see how many if any were available. I would, again check inside the PC or your user manual. It is a really great card though and for my money it was well spent. The original drivers for the camcorder were only USB and no updates were available. This was the perfect item for me to purchase. I'm using the FireWire 400 port right now until I get a cable for the 800 connector.Again, works great but check the availability of a PCIe slot in your system. I definitely would recommend the card though if you need it to connect to a camcorder like I did.
