The maple Coventry Wireless Lectern with Sound System and Over-Ear Headset from AmpliVox Sound Systems features a wireless sound system, and is made from genuine solid hardwood with a scratch-resistant clear lacquer finish. Sound for an audience of approximately 2500 people is provided by an AmpliVox SW805A 50 watt multimedia stereo amplifier with built-in 16 channel UHF receiver.
Included with this system is a flesh tone over-ear style headset that leaves you hands-free for your presentation or note taking. The ear piece fits neatly in your ear while the mic clips to your shirt or jacket. It works with frequencies of 584 to 608 MHz and includes one bodypack transmitter and receiver. The over-ear kit uses two included "AA" batteries. The lectern also includes a fixed dynamic gooseneck mic that allows two people to work at the same time.
Additionally, you can use three mics at the same time if you have a second optional complete wireless mic kit with mic, transmitter and receiver. Power to the amplifier is via 10 "D" batteries (sold separately) or an optional 120VAC adapter. Talk time is approximately 200 hours with fresh batteries. Four built-in 6x8" Jensen speakers are located at the bottom of the lectern. Two extra speaker jacks allow you to use 4 additional satellite speakers (sold separately) using an optional Y-connector.
The amp also features 3 inputs for dynamic, condenser with phantom power and wireless mics that can be used simultaneously. A line out jack for a tape recorder allows you to record your presentation in real time. There's an auxiliary input stereo jack with separate volume and tone controls for a CD player, tape player or LCD projector.
The unit features a rear equipment bay that accepts an optional lock. The Coventry is constructed with smooth sides and raised edges to prevent your material from slipping off the reading surface. Four hidden casters, two lockable, provide ease of movement. The unit ships fully assembled.
