The MT26 Multi-Task Series LED Flashlight from Nitecore is a versatile handheld illuminator featuring a durable anodized aluminum housing, four output settings as well as Strobe and SOS modes. This Multi-Task series light is equipped with a CREE XL-M LED light source that produces an 800 lumen beam capable of up to 228 yd of visible illumination. The one-inch barrel diameter also makes this light compatible with various mounting accessories. Additionally, the MT26 can be powered by either two CR123 batteries or one 18650 rechargeable battery.
A programmable two-stage pushbutton tailcap switch allows the desired output to be set prior to activation instead of cycling through each output setting. Also accessible using the tailcap switch are a strobe mode and SOS emergency signal. A rotary switch at the base of the lighting assembly provides quick access to the 800-lumen Turbo mode and user-defined output setting.
The 6061-T6 aluminum housing is finished with a scratch and corrosion-resistant Type III anodized hard coat. IPX8-compliant waterproof sealing allow the MT26 to be submerged to a depth of 6.6'. Measuring 5.6" and weighing only 4.7 oz, the MT26 offers pocket-sized portability without sacrificing ruggedness. Designed with an double spring anti-shock battery compartment, the light can withstand recoil when mounted as a weapon light. A knurled grip on the body, rotary switch and tailcap provide the MT26 with an enhanced grip that will be especially useful while wearing gloves or when conditions turn wet.
