Bolt PP-DC Overview

The Bolt PP-DC Doubler Cable allows you to plug one power cord into two 4-pin DIN HV power pack outlets. This will cut recycle time in half and ensure that the flash is ready to fire when you need it.

Repeated high-power flashes may raise the temperature of the flash or battery unit due to the high-speed recycling. Use caution to avoid overheating and allow your flash unit to cool down periodically.

question

Will this also work with the Strobies 360 Flash Unit? The Bolt and Strobies units appear to be identical.
Asked by: Steve
I have one Genesis 400 (Calumet brand), a Godox AD360ll, and Flashpoint Streaklight 360ll- and all are the same ports, same plugs and the doubler cables are interchangeable with all 3.

question

Does it actually cut the recycle time to 0.5 s when operating an on-camera flash on full power?
Asked by: Till
Yes and no. The flash recycle time is so fast, it's hard to truly time the action with just ones seances. 0.5 of a second is quick, so with measuring equipment one could get an exact refresh rate. So yes, the flash recycle time certainly feels incredibly fast, very very very fast. Is it exactly 0.5s faster. Probably.
