The JOS-1V Hands-Free Color Video Intercom System from Aiphone provides a simple and secure door monitoring system. When activated, you can enjoy hands-free 2-way conversation. If the system is in a noisy area, a simple touch switches the system to Push-to-Talk for easier communication. A 7" color LCD screen, with adjustable brightness control, provides a clear view of the caller. At night, a white LED illuminates the area for clear identification. This versatile system can be wired as a simple video intercom system with an easy 2-wire installation. It can be expanded to activate a primary door release, as well as secondary devices like lights, garage doors, or secondary doors.
Hands-Free Operation

Standby Mode
- In this mode, you can see and hear who is at the door, but they won't hear or see you
- Press the 'talk' button to activate the video/audio feed
Remote Releases
- Wire an electronic door release to be remotely unlocked with the push of a button at the monitor station
- Secondary switch allows lights, another door, garage doors, or other devices to be opened
