ETC Source Four Studio HD Overview

The ETC Source Four LED Studio HD Light Engine Body and Shutter Barrel is the heart of the Source Four LED Studio HD ellipsoidal. This listing is for the engine alone and requires separate purchase of a lens tube with your choice of 5, 10, 14, 19, 26, 36, 50, 70 or 90 degree lenses. The engine includes a 5' PowerCon bare end cable, yoke mount, C-clamp, soft focus diffuser and an A-size pattern holder. Edison, Stage Pin and Twist Lock connectors are available separately.

The Source Four LED Studio HD Ellipsoidal from ETC is an advanced light source employing sixty 2.5 mm emitters backed with the Selador x7 Color System which renders a larger color gamut than RGB resulting in more saturated and vibrant color mixes, particularly in soft pastels and skin tones. Color temperature is variable remotely via DMX from 2,700K-6,500K as is dimming The fixture has an impressive CRI of 94, CQS of 95 and a color fidelity rating of 93 at 3,200K while the Duv rating of 0.000 indicates the absence of green or magenta tint. The light engine/barrel ships with a 100-240VAC power supply and weighs 18.3 lb.

    5 combinations of operational settings are available to get quickly started. These settings are specifically created for different applications and are easily accessible at the fixture display. Each setting can then be modified as required to take advantage of all of the possible control features.

  • General: Direct- Factory default for general purpose use including interior architectural applications. Uses standard dimming curve and regulated output for color consistency
  • Stage: HSI Plus 7 Enabled- Duplicates the color and dimming behavior of tungsten stage lighting fixtures. Features incandescent dimming curve, regulated color consistent output and 3,200K white point setting
  • XT Arch: HSI- Provides a high degree of color consistency in high ambient temperature environments for exterior architectural lighting. Features standard dimming curve, protected output and 3,200K white point setting
  • High Impact: RGB- Enables quickest response, simple RGB control and strobe channel for maximum effect usage in event lighting. Features quick dimming curve, boost mode for maximum intensity and 3,200K white point setting
  • Studio: Studio Factory Default enables three parameter control of white light (intensity, white point, and tint) via DMX from console or from fixture display - no console required. Features linear dimming curve and regulated output mode for color consistency
