BenQ SX912 Overview

The BenQ SX912 XGA DLP 3D Projector provides 5000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a high 11,000:1 contrast ratio for clear, bright presentations - even in rooms with lots of ambient light. It features an XGA 1024 x 768 native resolution, a 3D DLP chip system, and a SmartEco-Mode that supports a long lamp life up to 3500 hours. The SX912's DLP display system supports multiple 3D formats and it works with 3D Blu-ray players for an immersive learning experience in the classroom or boardroom.

The projector provides a variety of connectivity options including dual HDMI and dual VGA inputs. It also has independent 3D color management for six primary colors, which provides up to 100% uncompromised color customization. Plus, an upper lamp door affords fast and easy lamp replacement. The SX912 features an optimized cooling system as well. Other features include a built-in 5W mono speaker, a low 0.5W standby power consumption level, and a powerful 1.5x zoom. The SX912 supports ecoFACTS environmentally friendly packaging as well.

Using 3D in your presentations and lessons allows schools, corporations, and other institutions to bring an immersive learning experience to their students and audiences. All that's required are 3D glasses (sold separately) and 3D content from your 3D-enabled Blu-ray player.
3D Support & Compatibility
The SX912 supports multiple 3D formats including the frame sequential format up to 720p resolution at 60 Hz, the frame packing format up to 1080p resolution at 24 Hz, the side-by-side format up to 1080p resolution at 24 Hz, and the top-bottom format up to 1080p resolution at 60 Hz.
High 11,000:1 Contrast Ratio
Featuring a high contrast ratio of 11000:1, the SX912 translates images with sharp details defined by a broader range of subtle color differences. As a result, the overall image is sharp, clean and easier to read.
Independent 3D Color Management for Six Primary Colors
BenQ's 3D color management tool ensures up to 100% uncompromised color customization with the freedom to independently fine-tune the hue, grain, and saturation levels of all six (R/G/B/C/M/Y) primary and secondary colors.
Powerful 1.5x Zoom Provides Installation Flexibility
The SX912's powerful 1.5x zoom opens up space with a wide range of throw distances, which means that you can most likely install the projector where your previous projector was located. This flexibility will also save you money on reconstruction costs.
LAN Control Centralized Projector Management
LAN Control enables IT managers to perform day-to-day projector maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and effectively - offering them full access and control over every projector directly from a central workstation. The SX912 supports both Crestron and PJ-Link Control systems as well.
Upper Lamp Door for Easy Lamp Access
The upper lamp door is designed for IT managers to replace the projector lamp safely and quickly. Should the projector lamp go out in the middle of a presentation in front of your class or clients, it can quickly be replaced without delaying the class.
Optimized Engine Cooling System
The SX912's engine cooling system is optimized to operate at a controlled temperature to ensure consistent and reliable projection performance. This minimizes the risk of heat damage to sensitive internal components helps cut down maintenance and repair costs as well.
Low 0.5W Power Consumption in Standby Mode

Five Aspect Ratio Modes Supported
Projector features five aspect ratio modes including its native 4:3, support for 16:10, support for 16:9, a Real mode that resizes the image to match the content's original resolution, and an Auto mode that resizes content to match the projector's native 4:3 aspect ratio.

ecoFACTS declares that the SX912 supports the effort to replace hazardous substances by improving material selection, packaging design, energy-saving design, and other aspects of the product.
