The 1' DVI Female to HDMI Male Adapter Cable from Kramer is designed to adapt a DVI cable to a device with an HDMI input, or to adapt from an HDMI source to a DVI cable. The cable features a rugged jacket and molded, gold plated connectors.
Note: When adapting HDMI sources to DVI, the audio signal will be lost since DVI does not support audio.

It works - Simple and straight forward
After carefully researching this adapter, I found it at B&H at 1/3 the price other retailers were selling bulkier less efficient models. B&H's website is clean and clearly showed the product so I could make a decision before buying it and find out it doesn't work. I'm a convinced customer

Hard to find adapter that works!
I used this to connect an old DVI monitor to a new MacBook Pro Retina. It frees up a Lightening connector and works absolutely flawlessly in this application. Could not find this item anywhere else.
