Key Features
- Panchromatic B&W Negative Film
- ISO 25/15° in Standard Process
- Fine Grain and High Sharpness
- Highly Transparent Base
Rollei/Agfa's RPX 25 is a low-speed panchromatic black and white negative film with a nominal sensitivity of ISO 25/15° in standard process and can effectively be pushed one stop with maintained results. The low speed also contributes to a very fine grain structure with very high sharpness. It features a traditional, thin emulsion and a transparent base, making it ideal for enlarging and scanning applications.

How is the curl when loading this film on reels? I find the retro 400 difficult to start and i've read the IR film is also.
The Rollei RPX 25 Black and White Negative Film (120 Roll Film) does have a tight curl. It takes some time to load it onto the reel.

question
Would anyone compare this with the late Agfapan 25 (APX 25)? Also, how well does this film do when processed with Rodinal/Adinal?
The film is very much like the old Agfapan 25. The film reacts about the same way to developers like Agfapan did.

question
What's the difference between rpx25 and rollei pan25 that was discontinued a few years ago?
It doesn't seem to be any difference as far as I can tell. There is no information online and after shooting both, there is no significant differences in the look.

Is the film wrapped or enclosed in a plastic package inside the box like Ilford films are? It’s like Kodak also.
Yes, the Rollei RPX 25 Black and White Negative Film (120 Roll Film) comes wrapped inside of plastic inside of the paper box.

question
any information on reciprocity?
I've shot a couple rolls, I like the images and I did a couple long exposures without compensating and all negatives were of normal density. However even though it's an ASA 25 film the grain is finer with Ilford Pan f 50.
