The Intelix FLX-1616 Modular Video Matrix Switcher (Up to 16x16) is a card-based modular switcher that supports up to 16 inputs and 16 outputs via optional input/output cards. It features 4 input card slots and 4 output card slots, and the optional cards each feature 4 ports. Over 80 different input/output combinations can be set up using all the available cards. The configurations don't have to be even — for example, you can have 4 inputs and double the outputs and freely route to all the outputs. The cards install without any setup required and secure by thumbscrews.
Each card has one type of connection. The input cards are available with HDBaseT, HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, and HDMI with Analog Audio inputs. The output cards are available with HDBaseT, HDMI, DVI-D, HDBaseT with Audio De-Embedding, and HDMI with Audio De-Embedding outputs. The HDBaseT input cards feature RS-232 and bidirectional wide-band IR. The VGA input cards come with breakout cables that support Component, Composite, and S-Video signals, and they feature built-in scalers that convert these signals.
The switcher can be controlled by front panel buttons or IR, RS-232, or TCP/IP connections. The front panel buttons are numbered and have clear caps for easy visibility. Prefixed control drivers are available for free download from Intelix for integration into your control system. You'll be able to assign each input number to a connected source. Ten presets are otherwise programmable for efficient routing. An LCD on the front panel at all times shows the output status.
