The red and gold Genesis FET from MXL is a studio condenser microphone capable of capturing the details of a wide range of performances, from singers to raw rappers and more. It features a 6 micron diaphragm and a large gold-sputtered 32mm capsule. It features low noise FET circuitry and Mogami cable wiring to ensure clean, natural recordings. Solid state electronics are used to emulate the sound of the original Genesis tube mic. The mic features a cardioid polar pattern and can be powered using 48V phantom power.
