    Lexar 8GB reviews

8GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 800x UDMA 7 is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and \Reliable Image Storage Just like film, I don't scrimp on memory cards. I have never had a Lexar card fail. But I have had other 'Pro Level' Cards fail and it can be a disaster. BUT a little known or discussed fact is that Lexar Pro cards include a 'Key' for a free download of 'Image Rescue5'. With this order I was replacing another brand's failed card and I used 'Image Rescue4' (From a previous Lexar purchase) to recover all the images (RAW and JPG) from the failed card. Plus, I got the latest version of 'Image Rescue' ... Such a deal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still my only trusted Memory Card Brand I prefer to use smaller capacity memory cards to keep fewer files on a card in the event of a failure. I like that Lexar still offers 8GB cards and have bought a few before they are no longer made. I now have over 100GB of their cards, some are close to ten years old and have been used heavily. I have only ever had one failure, and I suspect it was from the card getting wet while shooting in poor weather. Not the cards fault at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast: includes image recovery program Much faster than my Canon 40d needs. I could have bought a larger slower card for less, but the excellent image recovery program made it well worth the price difference and I will save time downloading my images due to it's speed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast Flash Card! I've been using this for a few weeks now and have noticed a marked improvement in the read / write time over my previous card. Because of it's performance but having owned it for a short time, I'm giving it a 4 star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lexar is the best My son in law works for Micron Tech, the company out in Idaho that produces Lexar cards, and he has told me Lexar uses the highest grade silicone available which makes their cards far less likely to fail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with Canon 7D I use this card in a Canon 7D mostly for nature, and wildlife shots. It works very well, and keeps-up nicely when burst shooting. It produces nice colors with good clarity. I would buy this card again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lexar 8GB I take a lot of photos when I'm out and about. When I'm actually doing a paid photo shoot, I'll often come back with 1500-2000 photos to edit. I bought 2 of these and that's all I need. I've had no problems with corruption or usage. They work great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast card at a great value I bought two of these lexar 8 GB cards for my Nikon D700 . They hold about 300 shots per card . Work flawless . Also use the new Lexar multi card reader with these cards . Have used Lexar cards way back & always could depend on their reliability .
