    Lexar 32GB reviews

    32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 800x UDMA 7 (2-Pack) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 88.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job as Expected These cards arrived barely two weeks ago and B&H is already sniffing around for a review. A bit soon I think. Anyway, I have these and two other 32GB Lexar cards. So far, in about four months of overall use, I have had no problems. I get nervous about putting as much imagery on one card, but some situations demand more camera time and less card switching. (That's probably just my paranoia rather than actual necessity.) The only gripe I have is that the free recovery software could not be downloaded. The access info provided has not worked in a half-dozen attempts. Seems to be a website problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inevitable if you care about quality Up until recently, I compromised writing time to save a few bucks. After some skipped frame issues (and overall need for more space for video data on shoots, I figured I'd give these a shot. I wish I had taken the leap earlier. The faster speed time and storage space optimizes burst shooting mode, and there is a tangible improvement to the quality of my videos in regards to frame (absolutely no skipped frames at all.)It may seem like a worthwhile sacrifice to save $-$ bucks on cf cards with slower read/write times, but I wish I had go on a limb earlier. I won't be sacrificing writing speed again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'd take that 800X with a grain of salt! I use two of these in my Canon EOS Rebel DSLR mostly to take pictures of people. Typically I snap shots of small groups during school activities, family events, sports events, parties and such. Invariably I want to take multiple shots a second or two apart, and for that purpose this memory card performs poorly. After a very few shots my camera becomes non-responsive for 4 or 5 seconds until it catches up. It actually seems to work better with my older lower rated 300X and 400X memory. I've missed (potentially) good shots because of this. However, I've never had an actual chip failure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 32GB works fine with a D300 I have used Lexar cards almost exclusively, but was a little concerned after ordering them. I hadn't used a capacity above 8gb before (like some, I'm hesitant to put too many pictures on just one card), but 8gb cards were hard to find and the 32gb duo was a better buy than duo 16gb cards. Also, I hadn't considered if a 32gb card would work in my D300 due to its FAT limitations. I needed more storage though, because of an upcoming trip which will require a vastly higher number of shots to facilitate regular and HDR panoramas. The cards formatted without a hitch and are working fine, and were received in the same week I ordered them. The only problem is when I upgrade my camera, my CF cards won't be used because of the transition to SD and XQD cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this CF card I have been a long time Lexar user. I needed more CF cards for upcoming weddings and decided to purchase the 32GB instead of the 16GB.. Its much easier to shoot with one card instead of worrying when I'm going to run out of storage!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Memory upgrade I had some old cheapo memory cards that worked OK, but felt it was time to get higher quality and a bit faster. Got a good deal at B&H, cards work fine, and seem sturdier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value for best quality I have been using these cards with my Nikon d700 and d810 for 2 years and have never had any troubles. I love them! This 2 pack is a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great card for digital photography I use this my newly acquired Canon 5D Mark III (also purchased at B&H). It does a great job of keeping up when shooting in burst mode.
