    Lexar 128GB reviews

128GB Professional 1066x CompactFlash Memory Card (UDMA 7) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 195.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recomended I bought this CF card to use in my Nikon D810 Camera. I currently have a Lexar 64GB 800X card. It is great, but the significant (and highly useful) difference I found using this 1066X faster card is that obviously write times are faster but that my shooting buffer seems to have increased from about 18 Raw NEF's to Approx 33 Raw NEF's. I don't understand why that is but it appears to be the case. I also use Lexar 1000X SD cards, so these CF cards are a very good complement to that. I would strongly suggest using the fastest cards you can afford - particularly with a high -Resolution camera like the D810 in wildlife photography. It makes all the difference!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great investment 04/19/2016 I'm a semi-pro photographer who always forget to reset my cards after I've downloaded all photos. There was one time where I bought another brand and forgot to download all my photos and when the time came to transfer them to my computer I got caught by surprise that all the information was corrupted in the card. I tried to recover it without luck. I started using this card and so far it's been great for video and photos with my 5D Mark III. I'll come by a year after this review for a more accurate evaluation. Cons. 1. Price, price, price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lexar CF cards are tops! Lexar and Sandisk are the only CF and SD cards i will buy. Rugged. Dependable. I have never had a corrupt card yet, and I have traveled to Yellowstone, throughout the African Continent, Europe...in rain, snow, heat, and dust, these cards hold up in all these conditions. This one holds more than a full-day's shooting even on safari where you shoot as fast as you can and its your battery that runs out first and not your car with the 128GB capacity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable & Fast I specifically bought this card to shoot RAW on my Canon 5D Mark III. It is fantastic. I haven't had any dropped frames and have been able to record for long periods of time without any problems. A must have for Magic Lantern users. It is also a great card for shooting at higher frame rates in continuous mode. It allows you to take advantage of your camera's true abilities. If you need speed, lots of storage, and reliability, this is your card. It may be outside of several peoples budget, but it's well worth what your paying for. Invest and don't be limited by slow, outdated, unreliable cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful for peace of mind I purchased this CF card to accompany my 128GB SanDisk Extreme PRO SD card for the 5D IV. I have the camera set to save to both cards. At first, my plan was to us this for video only...however redundancy seemed like a good idea. Well, let me tell you it is a good idea. I'm in the process of teaching myself Lightroom and accidentally deleted shots from a recent trip to NYC. Fortunately the Lexar came to the rescue with flying colors. Admittedly, I was a bit nervous or perhaps my OCD was kicking in when it came to mixing memory brands. I'm here to say, you have nothing to worry about. I recommend this Lexar card!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lexar CF Pro Ordered to shoot a professional boxing event with a Nikon D810. No issues with card or camera keeping up with continuing high shooting. The only thing I didn't realize and I'm not sure if it is the camera or the card, once I hit 1,999 shots a new folder was created and the remaining shots went to the new folder. To be honest when I went to look at a photo in camera I thought I lost a couple of hours of shooting because the photos from the first folder were not there. Same when I came home and transferred but then I realized there were two folders. With the D810 shooting in NEF Raw losless compressed I shot around 1600 raw + jpg images to the card and had room for approximately 250 more. I'm happy with the card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whats not to like? 4k on 5D mark IV A must for shooting 4k on the Canon 5D Mk 4, and will get you about 31.5mins on 4k at 30p. Seems crazy, knowing this you might want to spring for the dual pack or a 256gb card. Downloads at around 150ish MB/sec, writes at ...who cares...fast enough for 4k, (it's at least 90mb/sec and says 150 on the card). As long as it can record 4k, you're going to really care mostly about getting the info onto your computer (read speed). It does NOT give you more than 12 RAW+JPEG shots in a row, with a fast or slow card. The buffer light does clear WAY faster with this than my 'ultra' SD 32GB card, and you can take more raws faster with this CF card. It's night and day. My SD card only gives me 6 seconds of 4k before video stops as it's too slow to record 4k (about 55mb/sec before stopping). Anyway, great card.
