I have a Tascam DR 40 audio recover with two XLR inputs on the bottom. By plugging a Kopul 1/4" TRS Male to 3-pin XLR adapter into the recorder, and then plugging the adapter into the Main Out on my Mackie mixer, the audio recorder almost becomes part of the mixer. Keeps everything neat and manageable.
This is a good quality adapter and will be used as a back up for future shows
High quality and no problems from the ones I bought several years ago, just had more needs come up. Handy for interconnects with smaller mixers and certain brands with 1/4' balanced outputs that need to go into powered speakers or amps with XLR input jacks. No need to buy special cables just XLR male adapter to convert one XLR end into a 1/4. When connecting outboard compressors, or eq's can use the similar XLR female adapter part. Or convert an entire XLR cable to a TRS cable with both. Swiss army knife usability.
