How do you turn it on/off? Looking for something I can put outside my office that I can turn on/off from my desk.

This particular light is meant to be wired directly to electric within the room, and which could be controlled via a light switch in the room. An alternative to this would be to purchase the 12v version (BH #SAND34012) with an optional power supply (B&H # SA65356) and turn it on and off via a surge protector.
