The LN2MIC-ZMH6-MON is a Y-Splitter cable that allows you to do both headphone monitoring and recording from a single output jack. This cable features circuitry on both audio channels to match the sweet spot level of your camera's mic input. This cable avoids clunky XLR type attenuators that can produce heavy strain on the camera's mic input connector.

Really simplifies setting level if you have a Xoom H6 that you record to and then pass the audio to the GH4. Also adds another output to monitor sound if on your set you have a camera operator and an audio operator.

Works exactly as described to run audio out of your Zoom directly into your DSLR and be able to monitor through your headphones. I used mine to bring my Zoom 6 audio into my Nikon D5200. No glitches, no complications: just plug it in.

Will this item convert a line level signal (from the line output of a mixer) to mic in level for video camera? I have an Si Expression 3 mixer and JVC GV-LS2 Live Streaming Camera.It is my desire to feed live mixed audio into the JVC camera for HD recording to SDXC. The internal mic of the JVC leaves much to be desired in my application. Video is great, just want to use processed audio into the MIC in of the JVC...Thanks in advance!Kevin

In your case it is best to buy a cable with the correct outputs. If the output of your mix is XLR and the camera input is 3.5 mm, should make such a cable.

Hi Rob. We have not tested this cable with those devices and unfortunately don't have access to them to try them out, but I believe it should work. the .25dB attenuation tends to be the sweet spot for most camera mic inputs, so hopefully the Z Cam E2S6 is no different. Thank you!
