The American DJ Crazy 8 Moving Head LED Beam Effect is designed for lighting installations and live performance applications such as for theater, parties, and clubs. The fixture utilizes 2 independently tilting bars (each with 4 lenses) and 8x 8-Watt white LEDs to project 4.5° beams of light. It features 8-zone sweeping, pulsing, strobing, 0 to 100% electronic dimming, 540° base pan movement, and 150° bar tilt movement from smooth stepper motors.
The unit includes a built-in microphone for sound activation, IEC power in/out connectors, a DMX 512-IN/Out interface, a 4-button DMX LED display, and a 1/4" input for an optional American DJ UC3 controller (sold separately). For controls, the unit's 4-button DMX LCD display can be used to select from (show run) pre-programmed shows with sound activation, Master/Slave mode, or DMX control with five channel modes (ch 1, 9, 12, 15, and 21).
Up to 4 units can be daisy chained together at 120 VAC and up to 7 units can be connected at 230 VAC. The LEDs are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operating life, and the fixture requires no duty cycles. The unit comes with mounting brackets to attach to a wall or set on the ground.
