Merging acclaimed features of the M-Series headphones with a foldable, travel-friendly design, the black Audio-Technica ATH-M30x monitor headphones offer solid build quality and audio performance for studio-based production, location recording, and daily listening. Outfitted with 40mm dynamic drivers and an over-ear, closed-back design, the ATH-M30x headphones deliver enhanced midrange definition and wide bandwidth (15 Hz to 22 kHz) while isolating you from outside sounds.

Thanks to the 15° swiveling earcups, high-quality materials, and generous cushioning on the headband and earpads, the headphones are both durable and comfortable to wear. Exiting from the left earcup, the attached 9.8' cable reduces tangles and simplifies channel identification. The cable sports a gold-plated 3.5mm mini plug for use with mobile devices and computer soundcards, and a 1/4" screw-on adapter is included for easy hookup to audio interfaces, mixers, and stereo receivers. A carrying pouch is supplied with the ATH-M30x for convenient storage and transport of the headphones.

40mm Drivers
The ATH-M30x features 40mm dynamic drivers with rare earth (neodymium) magnets and CCAW (copper-clad aluminum wire) voice coils for quality sound reproduction at a competitive price point.
Tuned for Enhanced Midrange Definition
The drivers and headphone design work together to provide a sonic signature tuned for increased detailed and enhanced midrange definition. With a frequency response of 15 Hz to 22 kHz, the ATH-M30x can reproduce a full spectrum of tones.
Over-Ear, Sound-Isolating Design
The ATH-M30x utilizes a circumaural design that contours around the ears for excellent sound isolation in loud environments. This over-ear, closed-back style is optimal for reducing bleed and separating you from outside sounds.
15° Swiveling Earcups and Foldable Design
Equipped with 15° swiveling earcups, the ATH-M30x ensures a great fit. The earcups fold up to meet the headband, saving space during storage. A carrying pouch is supplied for protection and convenience while transporting the headphones.
Attached Single-Sided Cable
Keeping it simple and clean, the ATH-M30x incorporates an attached 9.8' cable that exits from the left side. This increases convenience and makes it easier to distinguish the different sides of the headphone.
3.5mm Plug and 1/4" Screw-On Adapter
The attached cable is terminated with a gold-plated 3.5mm TRS mini plug for easy hookup to mobile devices, MP3 players, and computer headphone jacks. A secure 1/4" screw-on adapter is included for compatibility connectivity with audio interfaces, mixers, and dedicated headphone amplifiers. Built-in strain relief on the 3.5mm mini plug reduces the likelihood of damaging the connection if the cable is pulled.

Clear as a bell

Excellent set of headphones. As a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with the beginning of hearing issues, these headphones are very clear and very comfortable. I would not say I am an audiophile, so take my comments with a grain of salt. I am also not in professional recording. I record demos for my students and I record stuff with my family for fun. These headphones were very affordable and feel like great quality. We'll see how the materials hold up over time, but the last pair I had are over 10 years old and still look great. the ear covers aren't peeling or coming apart. That's a good sign.

Excellent gaming headphones

This is an excellent headset to purchase for anyone who enjoys competitive gaming where mid range audio diversity and clarity is crucial. Firstly, the headphones are closed-back, meaning that all outside sounds are deafened and they isolate the audio to your ears. This also works well for audio directionality (Front, back, sides) which is of particular importance in my use case. Secondly, the mid-range is excellent for things like footsteps, distance, sound variety between multiple footsteps at different distances, and it avoid muddying sounds together and confusing you. These headphones have been groundbreaking for Counter-Strike, Escape from Tarkov and Rainbow Six Siege. Thirdly, the overall form and functionality of these headphones is just great. The cable that comes with these is very long, allowing me to tuck a lot of it behind the desk and router it through cable loops along my mic boom. They come with a feux-leather sack for on-the-go portability, and they also fold making storage no issue at all. Additionally, the fit is snug, it isn't too tight but it also isn't too loose, making them perfect for prolonged gaming sessions. My only critique is that it does seem like the headphones are a bit quieter than other equivalents from Sennheiser or Phillips, but that's sort of a whim assessment than hard fact. Also seems like the human voice drowns out other audio pretty significantly as opposed to other headphones that don't seem to do the same. Overall, I'd primarily recommend these for competitive gaming or on the fly music work that requires auditory scrutiny beyond just enjoyment.

Unfortunately we do not have a specific spec for the size of the pouch. It is snuggly fitted to the width of the headphones when folded, roughly seven inches or so.
