Works Great...Until It Doesn't
I have to replace these things pretty much twice a year. They work great, but eventually the pieces start to separate as a screw gets loose. No problem, right? Just tighten the screw. Except you can't get to the dang screw. I even bought a special 90° screwdriver but once that screw falls out, which it did once I started fiddling with it, it's game over. It's literally in the most absolutely inconvenient place. We run 7 cameras at $20/ea, It's not worth it anymore to buy them.
great shockmount but shoe connector seems rectanglar
great shockmount . works almost flawlessly with a deity s mic 3 with a furry cover doing handhelds . it cannot be mounted however in 2 out of four positions because the shoe connection is rectangular and not square . it cannot thus be used in some arrangements of which require the shockmount to be pointed in some directions because of less available space on some rigs . one may find it hard to rotate the position of this mount in 90 degree increments
