    Sirui SUTY5D3L reviews

TY-5DIIIL L-Bracket Plate for Canon 5D Mark III DSLR Camera is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Canon 5D Mk III perfectly Description of this L-bracket on the B&H website is accurate. I am leaving the bracket on the 5D III full time. It fits close to the camera and again as described, I did not have to remove my Op/Tech neck strap. Not having to remove and reinstall the neck strap was one of the most important criteria when I was looking at L-brackets. It is lightweight and streamline enough that it doesn't impede putting the camera in my normal carry bag(s). All controls, doors, and ports on the camera are accessible. It appears that it should be very durable in the field.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality L Bracket So far I've found the Sirui L-Bracket for my 5DIII to be excellent. I can't imagine anything better. I wish they made one for the 7DII.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bracket Fits the camera perfectly and provides easy access to the ports on the left. The camera strap does not need to be removed before mounting this, which was an uncertainty I had before buying. I have not used competing Kirk or RRS products and can't compare directly, but I see no flaws with the Sirui and recommend it highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! I think it's a pain to move the tripod head to a sideways position the L bracket is constructed well, accommodates the remote shutter plug and when using my Arca head makes it EASY to switch to vertical. The price wasn't the highest or lowest.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product but with inconveniences Bracket looks good, light and compact, however 3 things are bothersome for my needs: 1. A shutter release cable can't be used with this bracket, because the thickness of the bracket against the camera's body does not allow the cable to be inserted into the slot all the way in, in order to function. A wireless remote release is the only option. And if that runs out of battery while shooting, then removing the L-bracket is the only option, which brings the next issue bellow. 2. The bracket comes with a small tool to screw/unscrew it, which can be inconvenient to use when having to do that in the field under low light, or other such circumstances. However, I ordered a screw with D-ring to overcome that inconvenience. 3. The bracket forces me to rotate the camera towards left when shooting vertically, causing the camera's buttons to be on top. That can be a problem when the tripod is at its highest elevation. I prefer the camera to have the buttons on the bottom when rotating it for vertical shooting. Perhaps all L-brackets do the same thing, not just this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent so far. Pretty substantial materials, casting, and machining. It does not have to be removed to accesses battery on 5D3. It mates up superbly with my Acratech ball head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit, good feel The size and weight allow me to leave the bracket on. The camera with a 70-200 lens mounted on a tripod is stable. Seems well-made. Would buy again.
