Manfrotto POCKET Reviews

Manfrotto (NOT THAT LARGE) Large Pocket Tripod

This Manfrotto Large POCKET Tripod is not that LARGE Although well built with good spring tension and foldable for storage meaning you can always keep it in your bag, it is too small to balance a full frame mirrorless camera and standard lens. In my option it has a limited use much as a monopod meaning I will not take my hand off of the camera body but use it to help frame the shot if I have a wall or some other base of support.

Excellent product

I've bought several small tripods but have found them bulky and cumbersome to carry when traveling in Europe. This product seems to be what I've been needing - compact, pocket sized and light! It is made of metal and seems durable. Many churches and museums forbid tripods and this mini-tripod will allow long exposure photos by resting it on a bench, floor, etc.

Could an arca-swiss quick-release plate be attached to the screw for faster attachment/removal of the camera with an L-plate?
Asked by: Eric
Yes, the Manfrotto Large POCKET Tripod can be used with an Arca-compatible clamp such as this RRS clamp: https://bhpho.to/3YFVVps. Once the clamp is added, it can be used with an Arca-compatible plate or L-bracket.

question

what angle is the camera held at from the horizon? 0 degrees, 15 degrees etc....
Asked by: Anonymous
The safest position is 0 degrees. Depending on camera weight and dimensions (lens on a SLR, etc) it can be pointed a few degrees below or above horizon. I don't think more than 10 or 15 degrees with an SLR. It's a great product, excellent materials and resistance, yet small.
