HP 500-270 Overview

The 500-270 Pavilion Desktop Computer from HP features a fourth generation Intel Core i3-4130 processor complete with 8GB of DDR3 RAM which is upgradable to 16GB for enhanced multi tasking power. Along with enhanced processing power, this desktop computer comes equipped with a 1TB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive capable of storing a large number of files. With integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 you benefit from enhanced graphics processing allowing you to view movies and even play games.

Connect a variety of peripherals to this desktop computer as it comes equipped with four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports. Aside from USB connectivity, you can also insert a variety of flash memory into the 7-in-1 media card reader, while the SuperMulti DVD burner allows you to burn data to CDs and DVDs as well as watch DVD movies. To complete your multimedia experience you benefit from enhanced HD 5.1 surround sound audio support. Once configured, you can easily connect to the Internet via the integrated Gigabit Ethernet port or wirelessly with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi compatibility.

Windows 8.1 (64-bit) is the installed operating system. Windows 8.1 (64-bit) improves the user experience of Windows 8 with several additions and changes. The Start button returns, but has two limited core functions. A left click will simply takes you to the redesigned Start screen featuring tiles that update in real-time. A right click brings up an advanced menu where you can access the Device Manager, Control Panel and more. You will also be able to boot directly to the traditional desktop screen instead of the Windows 8 Start screen. Windows 8.1 (64-bit) provides a unique user experience that differs from previous versions of Windows.
