Although pricey, it is a great carrier. Love the pocket which is great for storing the little tools and short post.

I needed a well-made bag for my Gitzo GT1555T w/ RRS BH-30 head while using a shoulder bag. The tripod's length is 18 3/4, a perfect fit for this bag. Considering Gitzo's pricing, I was very surprised at the low cost of this bag.

Yes, the Gitzo GC2202T Padded Traveler Tripod Bag Series 2 (B&H# GIGC2202T) is designed to fit tripod/head combinations up to 18" long when folded. The Gitzo GT2545T Series 2 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod with Center Ball Head (B&H# GIGK2545TKT) is 17.5" when folded assuming that you haven't replaced the head with a different one.

It is a great fit for my Gitzo GIGT2545T Traveler Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod which is 17.5" in length when folded. You will have a bit more than 3" of unfilled space.

On a reverse-folded Series 2 Traveller tripod with no head attached, how much space is there for a head to fit in?

The Gitzo GC2202T Padded Traveler Tripod Bag Series 2 has interior dimensions of 18.5 x4 inches. The Series 2 traveler tripod is about 17.5 inches long so there is really no room for that model tripod plus a head.
