Not a DOWNLOAD
Kelbyone is excellent, and well worth the money. however, the email from B&H to get started with my Christmas gift of the annual membership, was a nightmare. It provided a link to download the software, which was completely inaccurate. I wasted alot of time, trying to figure out why the link you provided wasn't working, and that problem continued even after calling your support line. It wasn't rectified until I called the Kelbyone support line, and they got me properly set up in no time. Please make sure you correct your email template when sending your customers instructions on how to access their Kelbyone subscription. My review is 5 stars for Kelbyone, but the delivery to me as a B&H customer would be 1 star
Great content on so-so platform
The content itself is 4*, the site is 1* so let's say it averages to 3*.The pros: amazing instructors, great courses. The cons: lots. Right from the start, you that something is terribly wrong. Why do I get into my account settings every time I log in, instead of my dashboard? When taking a course, there is no way to know which lesson you're watching and this is particularly frustrating when you leave a lesson to come back to it a few days later. @ has done an wonderful job regarding this and kelby should take note. There are also soundtracks not in sync with video and I encountered a course where the curriculum order did not match the video order.Another annoyance: Flash is still used on the web site and there is no HTML5 option. It's kind of funny because you can watch the videos on your iDevice, so there must be a non-Flash version somewhere...To sum it up: forget about having a great experience on the web site, but the courses are pretty good.
