The Professional Series USA Gear Dual Grip Hand Support and Wrist Strap from Accessory Power is a combination wrist and hand support for most DSLR cameras. It is compatible with cameras that have a 3/8" neck strap webbing connector and 1/4-20 tripod mount.

This system provides you with two connection points that prevent your camera from slipping out of your hand. First, thread and secure the grip strap's webbing through your camera's neck strap lug. Second, attach the tripod connector to the 1/4-20 tripod socket of your camera. The tripod connector features an additional female socket to connect your camera to a tripod or monopod. Finally, wrap the neoprene support around your wrist and secure it via the touch fastener. This support stretches to accommodate wrist sizes of 4 to 10.5". This still allows you to maintain full control of the camera and guards against incidental slips while providing additional shooting stability. Your camera is now held at two points and remains firmly in your hand in shooting position.

    USA GEAR GRCMDG0110BKEW reviews

Professional Series USA Gear Dual Grip Hand Support and Wrist Strap is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from works for me I bought this because I needed some wrist support for holding my Canon EOS. It does a good job and gives some added stability in hand holding the camera. I found the section that goes around the upper wrist to be unneccesary. I also do not trust the the staps and buckle enough to leave my camera dangling from those componets, as they seem to be of low quality. But overall I am very happy with this product. I am especially happy I managed to keep using my neck strap on the camera, as both straps neck and wrist will fit into the camera body upper eyelet, attachment. The wrist strap attaches on the bottom to the tripod threads and still allows for a tripod attachment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok I purchased because i did not want anything hanging around my neck. I did not purchase a camera sling because it had only one point of connection, in the tripod area. This product connected to the tripod area AND the camera itself. I did like that even though it uses the tripod connection, you are also able to connect it to a tripod at the same time. It installed ok. My personal issues: the wrist apparatus is a bit clumsy. The connection with the tripod prevents me from accessing my battery and memory card compartment. But, I do feel it gives me a secure hold on the camera

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit, Just What I Expected After reading the other reviews on this dual gear hand grip, especially those that ranked it poorly, I have to say that I don't get those reviews since I really like this product and got it for two reasons: 1) I wanted to eliminate my cumbersome neck strap which I found too short for the kind of gym build I have. So the hand strap comes in handy for when I want to swing my Canon 5D Mark II into shooting action. And since I do a bit of traveling, having this grip hand support allows me to keep my camera close easing my concerns for when it rains or preventing theft (you just never know where you could wind-up!). 2) After seeing this item comes with added wrist support for the camera-hand support, I truly felt this product would be ideal. By having the extra wrist-band support, the likelihood of your camera slipping-out of your fingers and onto the ground is minimal. After trying out such a dreaful scenario while the camera hovered over my bed, I can say this entire product is wonderfully crafted, secure and solid. The fit can be adjusted and when initially putting it on your camera, threading the nylon through the holes is not as difficult as others have reviewed. Once it's on, you're ready to go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and Confidence I am very please with this hand grip. The padded hand strap is comfortable and takes the strain off my fingers to hold the mass of my Nikon D750. The wrist strap gives me extra confidence that I will be less likely to lose my grip on the camera. I take handheld action shots of my dogs and it's comforting to feel that if I am bumped, I will not drop $3500 worth of equipment. The threaded connection to the bottom of the camera has a bracket where I could attach my neck straps if I wished. It also provides a second threaded receiver to allow the camera to be quick mounted to my tripod, although I find the bracket gets in the way with my Manfrotto mount. It easily unscrews if I wish to bounce from handheld to tripod, so this is not a concern for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good start, but not 100% there yet. Using on my Canon 60D, which can get a bit heavy with the lens. Product should work very well for lighter cameras because on the heavier models it doesn't feel 100% secure - i'm cautiously afraid to open my hand and letting it go while wearing it. Pros: * Feels good against your skin - i.e. doesn't hurt as you wear it. * Wrist strap is good addition and works rather well. * LIke the quick release between wrist-strap and knuckle-strap. Cons: * The main nylon loop that's holding it all together seems quite thin (will it hold over time?) and twists inside the knuckle protector. * Bottom connector (the one that screws in at the base of the camera) is a bit too bulky and covers my battery bay. * Entire strap holds everything almost perfectly, but at times feels too small with bigger hands and bigger cameras. You must decide between going too tight (good hold) or too loose (a bit flimsy and perhaps insecure).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well worth the price, beware of strap. I think this is a great invention, Much better than the regular strap for cameras which are absolutely annoying and uncomfortable. This is good for me because i do lots of video work and need something to hold my camera when free use and something that doesnt come in the way of my work and gets tangled around. It is a cheap piece of accessory, as in price, but it feels really good. However, the strap that is used to attach the (strap) to the camera feels a little cheap, like it could be teared apart at the slightest accident. kinda scares me a bit, but its not a big deal. It feels good overall. Oh, yeah, the installation was kind of a hasle. But im not good with installing straps overall.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would work well for a different camera set-up I've got a Nikon D5500, one of the smallest dslr models I've ever seen, and I've got really small hands. This grip hand strap engulfs my hand, the wrist strap bit is a little too large for my wrist, and the attachment between the strap and the camera is at a bit of an angle due to the small size of the camera. The attachment between the wrist strap and grip hand support is a solid side-release buckle - very safe! But a little bulky on the back of my hand. If you've got a "regularly sized" dslr and larger hands, this may be fine for you. For me, it isn't going to work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent extra I use this strap on a Sony a6000..very handy.. very stable and I can relax my grip any time I want.. The only reason I did not give it five stars is I would not trust the thin strips with my larger DSLRs.. this product could be tremendously improved with stronger construction.
