This sports a 5?8" male thread. The AT2020 Mount sports a 5/8" female thread. However the mount ships with e 3/8" adapter. Please make sure you remove the adapter of the mount and try again.

What is the thread size at the bottom of the pole? This will be the end that screws into the base. The 5/8 x 27 will be the top of the pole where the microphone gets mounted.
The threads on the base of the Auray TT-6220 microphone stand are 7/8"-27.

Can this hold the weight of an electro voice re20?
I don't have any info on the EV microphone since I use my mike and stand with my ham radio (14 oz, Heil Sound iCM BG microphone) and it seems pretty stable. I try to keep the mike cord out of the way so my fumble fingers don't drag it all over the place.

This adjustable table top mic stand can be used with the Rode NT-USB Mini microphone. Simply, unscrew the base from the Rode mic and screw the mic holder into the 5/8-nch threaded female connector on the top of the mic stand.
