Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still a little small for my needs I am using it for my camera, rather than for lenses, so I can carry it in my small sling bag while I walk around or ride around the city and draw little attention to the contents of the bag. Camera bags are often very obviously camera bags and I feel this makes people vulnerable to theft. So it protects, but I still wouldn't want to drop my bag accidentally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Small Monopack Conversion I specially purchased the Mountainsmith Micro Kit Cube to convert a small mono strap backpack into a discrete day pack for my Canon dslr fitted with a small prime lens. The results were as expected. I removed the fully padded yellow cube insert from its slate colored roll-top bag and simply inserted it into my mono strap backpack. The fit was as projected. My Canon dslr camera and fitted prime slips into the Mountainsmith cube insert perfectly. I can now transport/carry my Canon dslr in non-descript mono pack around town knowing my equipment will be protected well and without prying eyes. This set-up will also work well with my compact Canon G-series camera as the need arises. Overall, I am pleased with the results as well as the overall construction of the product. I plan to use the roll-top bag for accessory items in my bigger messenger camera bag. Great purchase with lots of options limited only by one's imagination.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good case, nowhere near as big as advertised This is a great insert however it is way smaller than advertised; if I had read the dimensions I would not have ordered it. It is advertised as being big enough to hold a DSLR and a lens, however it is only really big enough to hold a camera body (D7200). I'm not returning it, will probably use it to hold a GoPro and accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This was just what I needed to fit in my purse to hold my camera on a trip to Europe. It is a great size and holds my camera and one lens perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution I used this to protect the body of my D750 while traveling. It's very compact and closes securely.
