This Sandies 343 Three-Sided ON AIR Light uses LEDs as the light source and displays "ON AIR" on three sides in bright red when turned on. When off, it's totally blacked out, leaving no confusion about whether it's off. It has a solid steel back plate with aluminum endcaps and a thick, red plexiglass faceplate. Use it mounted on standard, single gang boxes or with wall anchors.

A power supply is not included with this product. According to the manufacturer, the reason is that usually these lights are installed over studio doors and are controlled by a relay that is activated when a mic is turned on in a Recording or Broadcast studio.
