The Fujifilm X-T1 Mirrorless Digital Camera features a 16.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor and an EXR Processor II to produce high-resolution imagery with an expandable sensitivity range from ISO 100-51200 as well as a top continuous shooting rate of 8 fps. Fujifilm's proprietary X-Trans sensor uses a unique randomized pixel array in order to avoid the use of a resolution-reducing optical low-pass filter, therefore providing images with the utmost sharpness and clarity. This imaging system is benefitted by the Intelligent Hybrid AF system, which uses both contrast- and phase-detection methods to acquire focus quickly and accurately. Enhanced manual focusing capabilities are also a result of these technologies; Digital Split Image and Focus Highlight Peaking are two methods for quickly and precisely determining focus using intelligent focusing aids for improved control and optimized efficiency.

question

Is the autofocus fast enough to capture my 1 year old son who can't stand still to pose for a picture? How does it compare to the Fujifilm XE-2?
Asked by: Eugene L.
The AF sensors and AF algorithms have evolved way past the level of performance on the X-T1. While that is still a very very viable camera for all kinds of photography, for action the X-T2 or any of the others of that generation are much better. Having said that, the X-T1 is just like th X-E2 in AF performance.

question

Out of all of FujiFilms lens, which one would you recommend for everyday use? (That would work for this camera of course) I don't want a close up lens, I want one that can zoom in real good but is also really clear. I've never bought a lens before so I'm not really sure what to get. Thanks!!
Asked by: Dark S.
I highly recommend the Fuji Fujinon 35MM F/2 R WR Lens. Given the X-T1 crop factor, the 35MM lens most closely resembles a 50MM lens used on a full frame camera. Additionally, at F2 it is a very fast lens, allowing for low ambient light photography. I understand that you asked for a zoom lens, however I believe your photographic skills will increase using a fast prime lens that has a normal field of view.

question

Does X-T1 focus fast with 35mm f/2? Any X-T1 and prime lens recommendation for fast focusing?
Asked by: Mark F.
The combination of XT1 and XF35/2 works well. Fast focus.I have also used the XF14/2.8 on the XT1 and again worked beautifully. Obviously XT2 will be better but getting the XT1 for less than 1/2 the price of XT2 was rather attractive.

question

what is the difference between the two lens?
Asked by: Dark S.
Hello Dark, Are you talking abut the difference between the 18-55mm and the 35mm? Everything depends on what you are going to photograph with them. In my personal opinion, the fixed lenses (35mm) has better quality of image and usually they give you more light. The bad news is you are going to move more and faster because you don't have any options to change the angle of view with it. In other hand the zoom lenses (18-55mm) are more heavy and sometimes they give you less light. This one is a luminosity one, so you don't have to worry about that and it give you the oportunity of make different compositions shooting from the same place using the different focal lens on it. I hope this answer help you. Have a great day and photos. Lucia

question

Im torn between the fujifilm xt1 vs xt20 would like a good camera for landscape and street photography.?
Asked by: Stephen T.
T1 is 16mp, T20 is 24mp (newer sensor). So for landscape you'll get much better enlargements with T20. But the X-T1 is weather sealed.
