The Rycote Modular Windshield WS 1 Kit MZL for the Sennheiser MKH 8060 Microphone would be far too short for the DPA 4017b. The Rycote Super-Shield Kit for Shotgun Mics (Medium) (BH #RYSSKM) would be recommended instead.

No. The Rycote Modular Windshield Kit WS 3 includes the Connbox CB4 which is compatible for use with stereo microphones that have a 5-pin XLR connector. The Sennheiser MKH 8060 Short Shotgun Microphone uses a standard 3-pin XLR connector. A similar compatible windshield kit is the Rycote 086067 Modular Windshield WS 1 Kit MZL for the Sennheiser MKH 8060 Microphone (B&H # RYMWS1MZLKIT). You can also use the Rycote 010320 Super-Shield Kit for Shotgun Mics - Small (B&H # RYSSKS) or the RODE Blimp Windshield and Rycote Shock Mount Suspension System for Shotgun Microphones (B&H # ROBLIMPR).
