The Shotgun Mic Foam and Windjammer Combo from Rycote is a slip-on wind solution for shotgun microphones. The foam features a 1.9" inner depth and a standard hole diameter opening. It features an open-cell acoustic foam windscreen that offers up to 10 dB wind-noise attenuation and a synthetic-fur windjammer that offers up to 12 dB of wind-noise attenuation.
The foam windscreen slips over the microphone head. The windjammer slips over the foam. The combo is designed to keep high-frequency loss to a minimum while providing resistance against the effects of moisture and UV light. Use it to capture audio recordings in outdoor conditions such as on boats or beaches, in stormy weather, and more.
