    Interfit STR202 reviews

Strobies Pro-Flash Battery Pack is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Battery Pack I purchased to use it with Bolt VX-710N (Nikon TTL version); bolt uses canon compatible power cable interface (purchased separate $40 made by interfit). This setup is about $190 compared to Bolt alternative of power pack and cable of 300. With that said, this is an excellent product to use for on camera flashes, I used it with D750 and D7100 during a wedding about 1000 flash fired and no flash over heating problem. I do have to use 4AA in flash to establish connection to external power pack but you will not have to change batteries until power pack is out of juice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delighted! I purchased this battery pack for an older Metz flash (for Nikon), and it worked perfectly using a Quantum cable for Metz. It also worked perfectly for my new Phottix Mitros+ (for Nikon) speedligts using a Phottix cable. Ditto excellent for an older Quantum QFlash T2. Best of all, it worked for my notoriously temperamental Photogenic StudioMax III AKC160B AC/DC Monolights. I've since added the Strobies Pro-Flash Replacable Battery. I suspect I'll be adding more of these reasonably priced battery packs to my kit for all these flashes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product - BUY WITHOUT HESITATION!! Not sure why anyone would pay 2-3 times more for other name brand battery packs that are NiCad based and have only half the power. Works great and charge lasts forever! I purchased 2 of these for use with my 2 Canon 600EXRT for both on and off camera use. I took over 1000 shots with the flash on camera at an outdoor night event 2 nights ago and it still shows that I have a full charge. Recycle time was 1 second or less. I was even able to do a short 6 shot burst at 2 fps and the flash fired every time!!Wore it on my belt and did not even notice the weight and basically forgot that I was even wearing it.The only minor concern I have is that the case is made of hard plastic which may break if dropped. I am very careful with my equipment, but it was still a concern so I purchased neoprene wraps and secured to the units with rubber bands which solved this concern.Buy this without hesitation....you will not be disappointed. You will save yourself several hundred $$$ over the Quantum unit (you can get 2 of these AND 2 additional batteries for the same price). Why would one even consider buying the Canon battery pack which does not recycle nearly as fast or last nearly as long??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best battery pack for the price I recently shot a 3 day event (9 to 11 hour days) and had my battery pack turned on and in use the entire time. When the conference was over at the end of the third day, the battery was still almost full (only one led turned off out of the three or four). Full power flashes recycle in 1 second and anything less than full power is pretty much instant. Ive only owned this for a week so I cannot speak to how it will hold up in the long run, but the quality seems good, solid product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definately recomended !! I purchased this battery to use with my Quantum Trio flash and have used it on several wedding events ,at this point totally happy with its performance , recycle time is instant , I noticed at one point I had taken over 400 images and it was still on full charge by the end of the day it only went down to three lights from four. Also it seems to hold its charge even when sitting for a week without use . The only thing at this point is how it will hold up over time ,if it will maintain that level of performance , also as an added benefit its is much lighter than the other batteries I have been using , I also like the fact you can purchase additional cells which I have done so I have a backup if needed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best of the inexpensive packs I've tried Firstly, the Strobie is $$cheaper than the Nissin PS8, a similar model. Similar, but the Strobie is far better. The Strobie has a cable to the Speedlite which locks in place on the power pack. This is not the case with the Nissin, where the cable connects with only a 3/8 intersection between the male and female connectors, very easily pulled out...and you won't know it until your flash expends its AA batteries. Also, the Strobie is a Lithium ion battery, with longer life, no memory and a 4,500 mAh capacity, which will fire your lite 1800 times on one charge. The Nissin is a Ni-MH battery, with only 3,000 mAh, and 500 flashes. The Strobie is also 4 oz lighter than the Nissin. Both recharge the flash in less than a second, and I've tested both. All in all, the easy disconnect of the cable was the deal-changer here, and the other specs are gravy. I can't imagine using 1800 flashes in a day, but can imagine shooting 500 and having to carry a separate Nissin battery cartridge. Easier not to worry with the Strobie. And you save $50. However, you have to spend $20 for the Strobie cable; the Nissin has one included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Power Pack at a Great Price I have other Bolt power packs, which are essentially the same as these by Strobies. Bolt raised their prices from the same as Strobies to outright crazy. Why should I pay $500 for Bolt when I can get the same thing at $150 wtih Strobies? Well done Strobies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power to the Photophers, I would buy this again So far so good, I've used the pack for several events and never reach the halfway mark. I paid twice the cost of this unit to have the batteries replaced in my two Quantum Turbo 2 x 2s. The Quantum units drain while being stored and have to be recharged. If you forget you have only 2/3 of the power. The Strobies unit is lighter and the battery seems to last forever. I wish I had known how well this unit performed before I sent in the other units. Whenever the Quantum units fail, I'll replace them with one of these.
