How to connect this mixer to a subwoofer?

How to connect this mixer to a subwoofer?
Asked by: Stanley
If the subwoofer has a Left / Right input and output, you would go from the Yamaha MG10XU Left / Right main out - into the subwoofer - out from the subwoofer to the Left and Right top speakers. Alternatively, if the subwoofer does not allow you to send the signal out, and the speaker has a line/mix output, you can connect that to the subwoofer.

Is the Yamaha MG10XU compatible with all ipads? ...

Is the Yamaha MG10XU compatible with all ipads? even if it is not the ipad pro?
Asked by: Alejandro
The USB output from the Yamaha MG10XU can be connected to iOS devices like iPhones and iPads. You just need to have the appropriate cable. If your iPad has a USB-C connector, you can use the StarTech USB Type-C Male to USB Type-B Male Cable - 3.3' (B&H # STUSB2CB1M) or use the original USB cable that is included with the mixer and add a USB-C adapter like the Pearstone USB 3.0 Type-C to USB Type-A Adapter (B&H # PEUSB33CA06) onto the USB Type-A plug. For an iPad or iPhone with a Lightning port, you can use the original USB cable and connect the Apple Lightning to USB 3.0 Type-A Camera Adapter (B&H # APMK0W2AMA) onto the Type-A plug. This adapter converts the USB Type-A plug to Lightning and also includes a Lightning port to use with a charging cable so you can keep your iOS device charged while recording.

Can this mixer take a Yeti Blue Mic (USB) INPUT, ...

Can this mixer take a Yeti Blue Mic (USB) INPUT, along with XLR mics... and OUTPUT to a Mac? I was told there's no such audio mixer... but what does it mean that there's 2 in/ 2 out USB? I'm quite confused...
Asked by: Dale
No, the Yamaha MG10XU 10-Input Mixer with Built-In FX and 2-In/2-Out USB Interface is not capable of accepting a connection from a USB microphone such as the Blue Yeti. The described "2-In/2-Out" functionality serves the purpose of interfacing the audio from the mixer into a computer over USB connection for recording digitally in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software.

Do I need an interface for this or does it's USB channel work the same way?
Asked by: Max R.
This unit features a built in interface. When connected to a computer the mixer will pass the main stereo mix via its USB connection.

Can I do loop back recording? Where I can record ...

Can I do loop back recording? Where I can record a vocal in real time over a karaoke track played from a web browser or media player.
Asked by: Jay
Yes. Set the ch9/10 switch to Monitor only. The stereo out, which is always the same as the USB going to your DAW, does not include the media playback from the USB in. Assuming the backing track is playing back from the DAW, you will end up with another vocal only track lined up with the backing track. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Hi can i connect 4 speakers and a subwoofer I'm going to buy it for my son he has a pair alto TS-415 that he bought here a pair qsc
Asked by: Carlos
Yes, it is possible to connect 4 speakers and a subwoofer to the Yamaha MG10XU 10-Input Mixer. The Alto Professional TS415 Active Loudspeakers can connect directly to the mixer, and as long as the subwoofer and the QSC speakers are also active (powered) speakers, they can also connect directly or be linked together.
