Can this connect a microphone directly to a recorder? Such as, a Lewitt 140 air to a Sound Devices MixPre 3?
This could work for you, but that will probably put a lot of strain on the mic connectors. Using a longer cable, and mounting the mic on a stand, grip, or boom pole - will be a much better option.
