When the legs are spread out, the tripod sits 0.5" high, and when folded it measures 2.75" long. At only 0.6 oz, you can add this lightweight tripod to a bag without worrying about additional weight.

Quality: Good Design: Small, Easy To Screw On / Off. The Ball Head Is Designed For Very Very Light, Point-n-shoot Camera, Phone, Or GoPro. Anything Slightly Heavier, And The Ball Head Will Drop To The Side. Pricing: Reasonable My Application: I'm Trying To Replace My Old Gorillapod Micro 800 (now Discontinued, Unfortunately) To Use With My Micro 4/3 Camera. I Had High Hope For This, But Its Ball Head Is Extremely Weak In My Use Case. It Can't Even Compare To The Gorillapod Micro 250, Which Has An Even Lower Profile And Stronger Ball Head. In All Fairness, It Would Perform Well For What It's Designed For, A Phone, A GoPro, Or A Tiny Point-and-shoot Camera. Pricing Is Good, So I'll Keep It In Case I Have A Use For It In The Distant Future. I'm Keeping My Hope For GorillaPod To Re-introduce The Micro 800.
