The 8" High Brightness LED On-Camera Teleprompter from Autoscript features a brightness of 1700 nits suitable for use outdoors in daylight. This system is mirror-based, meaning the presenter looks directly into the camera lens while the script is reflected off an angled beampslitting glass. Thanks to the two-way design of the beamsplitter, the text is invisible to the camera with the only artifact being a slight reduction in brightness. The monitor features two composite inputs and a single VGA input so that it can be connected to either a computer or a video source. The full teleprompter assembly weighs 7.8 lb.
A 4-pin XLR power supply is included, and for field use the monitor can also power from a 12VDC source such as a battery system or an ENG camera with power output.
