Gitzo Series 5 Quick Release Adapter D Profile

The Gitzo Series 5 Quick Release Adapter D Profile allows any head without a quick-release system to accept the D Profile Arca-type compatible plates. It has a load capacity of 26.5 lb, and allows most Arca-type plates to snap into the head from above, rather than sliding the plate in from the side. Made from magnesium, the adapter screws into a 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 threaded stud.
