Meopta MeoStar S2 82HD 20-70x82 Spotting Scope (Straight-Viewing)

The straight-viewing MeoStar S2 82HD 20-70x82 Spotting Scope from Meopta features a large 82mm objective lens that uses extra-low dispersion (ED) fluoride glass which reduces chromatic aberration across the entire field of view. Additionally, the exterior surfaces are coated with the MeoBright multicoatings that increase light transmission. These factors help to produce clear and bright images, with accurate color transmission without distortion, even in low-light conditions such as dawn and dusk. To protect the optical surfaces, they are also treated with the MeoShield and MeoDrop coatings. MeoShield resists scratches and abrasions, while the MeoDrop repels water, grease, oils, and other substances that can obstruct the lens. Its straight-through optical design makes finding and tracking a subject fast and easy.
